Last of the China trip photos. We spent nearly a week up there, and on a couple of the mornings the clouds were low enough that the peaks turned to islands. As the sun rose higher the cloud bank either dissipated or climbed up the slope, enveloping everything in mist and obscuring anything more than 10-20 meters away.
If there’s a better way to spend a hot and sticky summer day than chilling like a boss in a cool mountain stream, I haven’t found it.
Sort of under a small waterfall (a couple yards away). There was a pretty big carp and a pair of trout lived under there.
29ºC in the city the other day. Back home this would mean the river at Kiyotaki was warm enough to swim in.
